Tour Breakdown

Monday - We travel northwards passing through the western counties of England to arrive at our hotel where a warm welcome awaits. Sherry reception before your dinner followed by your resident singer.

Tuesday - After breakfast pick up your quiz sheet from reception then we are off for a drive through the lakes and mountains visiting Coniston Water, Grassmere and Windermere. Again there will be evening entertainment.

Wednesday - After breakfast again pick up your quiz sheet then we head to Kendal for Christmas shopping. This evening enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner and again evening entertainment.

Thursday - A free day to explore the village or perhaps a walk on the woodland trail in the grounds of the hotel and don’t forget your quiz sheet. Tonight is Hogmanay and dinner is served by candlelight and bring in the new year with entertainment.

Friday - After a leisurely breakfast we depart for our journey back to the West country.

Our Hotel

The Cumbria Grand Hotel. A great favourite of our customers, set in 20 acres of grounds the hotel was built in 1880, in its peaceful setting. It offers a tennis court, putting green and a woodland nature walk. A lift to all floors. All rooms are en suite with TV, telephone and tea & coffee making facilities.
