Tour Breakdown

Monday - We travel through the Black Country and then head into North Wales. We will see Snowdonia as we approach our destination at Criccieth, overlooking Cardigan Bay.

Tuesday - Christmas Eve. Today we travel through the Snowdonia National Park and Beddgelert to the town of Caernarfon. It is a small market town under the shadow of its magnificent castle. After dinner in the evening there are carol singers and entertainment.

Wednesday - Christmas Day. A gentle start to the day with Santa’s Buck Fizz Breakfast. Explore the village, the castle, or enjoy a stroll along the beach. Later guess the weight of the Christmas Cake and win a bottle of ‘bubbly’. Before dinner there will be a visit from you know who! This will be followed by Christmas Cracker Party Night with live music, party hats and lots of fun.

Thursday - New Years Eve. A short day out to Porthmadog and the Italianate village of Portmeirion. Before tonight’s festivities, why not guess the Teddy’s name and take him home! Again tonight there is live music to dance the evening away and bring in the New Year!!!

Friday - A leisurely breakfast after the night before! We then retrace our journey back to the West Country arriving late afternoon.

Our Hotel

The Lion Hotel Criccieth. Situated overlooking the village green and Cardiga Bay. There is a public bar and residents lounge, a lift to most floors, all bedrooms are en suite with TV, tea/coffee making facilities and are all well-appointed.
