Tour Breakdown

Monday - A morning departure will see us travelling north with comfort stops on the way. We cross the border into Wales and will arrive at our hotel to be given a warm welcome and an old penny to spend in the bar before dinner. Afterwards we will be entertained with a light hearted look at the music hall and its acts. There will be a quiz, and competitions with prizes to be won.

Tuesday - After breakfast we are going to the Isle of Anglesey, visiting LlanfairPG. Then to the Victorian town of Llandudno to exchange one of your vouchers for a delicious Cadwaladers Ice cream. Whilst here enjoy a visit to “Home Front Museum” using one of your vouchers. After dinner we are treated to an evening of ‘Time to Remember’ with Mr. Martin Berry, so sing along!

Wednesday - A free day to relax and explore the village.

Thursday - Today we drive the short distance to Porthmadog for a ride on the Welsh Highland Steam Railway and afterwards a coffee or tea and a slice of Bara Brith which you purchase with another voucher. Tonight is a ‘Black & White’ party night so get the glad rags on and enjoy a sumptuous dinner then good old fashion fun… “Knees up Mother Brown”.

Friday - After a hearty breakfast its time to say farewell and begin our journey home. Stopping en route we will arrive back in the West Country late afternoon .

The Lion Hotel Criccieth, North Wales. Situated on the village green with magnificent views of Cardigan Bay, this is a firm favourite with Hookways clients. All bedrooms are en suite with TV, telephone, radio, alarm clock and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a lift to most bedrooms.
