It all started in 1902 when the people of Jersey wanted to celebrate the coronation of Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in a way that the world would remember. Little did they realize that 108 years later it would be remembered in the world renowned Battle of Flowers Celebrations. Thursday starts one of the leading floral displays in the world, enjoying the spectacular flower festooned floats, musicians, dancers and entertainers providing a tremendous atmosphere.
On Friday night, see this spectacular display by night, when the floats are illuminated by thousands of lights. At the time of going to press the prices for this event had not been released. However standing along the route is free but if you wish to book a chair or grandstand seat please let us know and we will forward the advance booking form when its available (at extra cost)
